Learning is very
complex. It begins at birth, and continues throughout life. At first,
young children learn within the family. Then gradually their learning
environment changes. They move from informal learning in the family
to more formal educational programs, like daycare programs, early childhood
programs, Aboriginal Headstart programs or schools.
Research shows that when parents are involved in their
children's education, children are more likely to be successful in
early childhood and school programs. |
