The NWT Literacy Council will continue to offer family literacy funding to each community in the upcoming year. The funding is from the Early Childhood Development Framework for Action which is a joint project between Education, Culture and Employment and Health and Social Services.

There will be $3 000 per community for family literacy projects, resource development and family literacy community events.

The criteria for the funding are:
