NWT Literacy Week Highlights

NWT Literacy Week is celebrated all throughout the NWT. This year we heard from many communities about what they did to celebrate NWT Literacy Week.

Deline

Deline hosted daily events for NWT Literacy Week. Some of the activities and workshops they did were:

  • Making reading fun at home
  • Dene literacy
  • Traditional crafts
  • Family fun night

The goal of the week was to promote literacy at home with parents and children. They were surprised by the turn out they had for all the events. Everyone had a great time!
