Book of Changes

The Movement for Canadian Literacy (MCL) is seeking your assistance in helping them to promote their campaign to expand the Book of Changes. The Book of Changes is their online collection of learner stories in which adult learners describe what literacy has meant in their lives.

Learners can submit stories online or by mail. They can also call MCL and they will scribe their words. They welcome participation by individuals as well as class groups. If your organization already has collections of learner stories, they would like to link to those as well.

MCL hopes that these stories will inspire other learners, help them "make the case for literacy" and especially help learners themselves reflect on how far they've come. Details are on their website at: http://www. literacy.ca/lan/bookchng/cover.htm.
