Rockin' in Hay River
We sent out the Music and
Literacy How-to-Kit in September but omitted an important page: The recognition of Jessica
Latour and Growing Together. The NWT Literacy Council would like to
thank Jessica and Growing Together for their ideas and activities and
for inspiring us to develop a How-to-Kit about music and literacy.
Jessica
will present her Rockin' Rhythm workshop at the upcoming Family
Literacy Training
Institute being held in Yellowknife at the end of November. Participants
last year had this to say:
