- NWT Wins Read for 15 Challenge
The NWT won the 2009 Read for 15 Challenge with Nunavut by less than a 1% margin. More people participated in this Literacy Week event than last year in both territories. Check out our new resource webpage! The webpage was designed to provide family literacy providers, literacy tutors and practitioners better access to information like books, DVDs, articles and reports. We have tried to focus on resources of interest to people in the NWT, such as resources with northern and Aboriginal content. You will find resources on family literacy, workplace literacy, Aboriginal languages and literacy, youth and adult learner resources and instructional material, ESL, health literacy and much more.
